about
Tanya Mykytiuk is a graphic designer and print production specialist with over 20 years of experience. Since 2013, she has worked independently under the studio name ptashka, creating thoughtful, strategic design solutions for small businesses and community organizations.
A graduate of the School of Graphic Communications Management (BTech) at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Tanya has a strong foundation in pre-press, print, design, and marketing. Her work is guided by clarity, craft, and a deep understanding of how visual communication supports meaningful connections.
In 2024, Tanya's design was selected for the Silver Pysanka Coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, a national recognition that celebrates her ability to merge cultural storytelling with compelling visual design.
Tanya is also a practising pysanka artist, sharing traditional Ukrainian egg decorating through her work at ukrainianchicken.ca, where she explores the intersections of heritage, craft, and visual storytelling.
She specializes in branding, print design, and innovative marketing materials, working closely with clients to develop solutions that are both visually compelling and technically sound.
